Are you a passionate woman who has a zeal for life but there is something stopping you from fully experiencing that life? You may or may not know what this is yet this thing has cost you a lot in terms of lost hope, lost opportunities and happiness. Your happiness matters, it is the one ingredient for your success at work, relationships and at life in general. I’m compelled to share these insights with you as I have experienced the power of self - healing.
So what does this entail:
Healing your psyche or mind. This involves your thoughts and how your brain processes and makes sense of your surroundings. When you are sick in mind, your whole life seems to be going “Up - side down” i.e. What you perceive as reality may not be so. Have you ever been in the company of other people or your family and thought to yourself – “Everybody hates me here, that is why they are behaving in strange ways.” yet you could be mistaken and the opposite is true. Usually when someone has gone through traumatic experiences such as the loss of a loved one or an accident they are robbed of a part that they thought was vital for their self - esteem. Perhaps you have been abused either as a child or an adult and so in your mind, the world is cruel so you need to struggle to make it, or you just hide away or you hibernate from life. You keep a low profile.
So healing your mind involves immersing yourself in new knowledge, experiences and encounters that seem to paint a different picture. I once read a book; Change your mind change your life by …G. G Jampolsky, M.D., and Diane V. Cirincione and I was challenged to start thinking differently. The authors describe how just changing the way we think in itself is the first step in healing ourselves and changing our lives. When I decided to try it, it seemed strange that I could monitor and control my thoughts. To do this you have to be conscious of what you are doing. Prayer or meditation helps as it alters the state of the mind temporarily. Then from an altered state you have to say positive affirmations that boost your confidence. Our belief system is a result of conditioning from past events or fears passed down from generation to generation and they are controlled by the subconscious mind. So to change this we have to engage our conscious mind to counter what the subconscious is saying.
For example: If you encounter a situation where you say to yourself, “I will not do this because I’m not good enough” immediately change the thought to “I can do this, I am good enough.” You have to be conscious to catch the subconscious thought in its track and reverse it. If you do this for 30 days – you will come out at the other end with positive healthy thoughts.
In the next article we will cover healing your emotions. Sometimes it is not easy to work on your own healing and succeed. This is why in 2017 at WHEC we have started The Healing Circle. This is an exclusive regular gathering of women who think or believe that they could be more or do more than what they are currently doing in life. These are women who may have a career, business or any other gainful employment and yet life is just a struggle. Others may actually be struggling to have or maintain relationships and so believe that they may be under a curse or demonic oppression. These women are mature and capable of making their own decisions but need help in healing from afflictions that deny them happiness.
Is your life a struggle from year to year despite all your efforts?
Are you successful in one area of your life yet the other areas seem elusive?
Do you want to be in control of your life and thus your happiness?
Our pilot group will be in Harare. Join us in 2017 at The Healing Circle. For more details Contct Us .
Compliments of the New Year! 2017 promises to be the year when many people are going to break the yoke of bondage from lack. Lack of what, you may ask. It could be lack of money, lack of good relationships, lack of self – love, lack of good direction or lack of a vision.
The shift from lack to abundance will not however, miraculously happen. As they say, faith without works is dead. So while you may have entered 2017 in a spiritual bubble and armed with prophesies of how great your life could be. The next step in actualizing this abundance is taking action. In my book: From Vision to Action – How to Live Your Purpose and Find Healing – I talk about how one needs to act on their vision.
This involves getting requisite knowledge, physically doing something profitable, investing in your growth, ministry, career or business. These practical action steps will catapult you from that position of lack or emptiness into the cloud of abundance. So rather than serving yourself pity – pies and thinking “Life is hard” try doing something to change your situation.
I am living testimony of the results of persistent search for knowledge and financial investment in programs that have equipped me to be able to start living my purpose and healing my life while making a living. Yes, the God who commissions you, also provides the resources you need but you need to take action by exercising choice and free will. As you take action, more doors begin to open, your knowledge expands and you also start seeing the blocks that have been keeping you stuck in that desperate situation and miracles start manifesting. I for one am not going to stop at anything to turn all the stones that lead to abundance in my life.
I am offering a 90 Day Purpose Discovery training for that woman who is tired of going from place to place to try and find an outlet from her life’s challenges. That woman who is serious about working on her issues, investing in her personal development and shifting from current positon of sadness to abundant joy. I want to work with women who are committed to taking the necessary steps for connecting with their purpose.
I have since discovered that a lot of our challenges as women originate from not knowing who we really are or trying to fit into other people’s models. In the Women’s Healing and Empowerment Club you will be able to:
My husband and I visited our 25-year old daughter who is newly settled in this peaceful, refreshing, laid back country. So you can begin to guess what lay in stock for us as we landed at Schiphol airport, Amsterdam. A rollercoaster rides…kkkkkk. With my young daughter’s energy and enthusiasm, we had a full tour program from day one, visiting all the noteworthy attractions around the country and neighboring states;such as the Euro mast of Rotterdam and the Atomium of Brussels. Before this trip I had not walked the way I did, let alone climb up and down elevators and stairs, hoping from bus to train to tram all in a single day. Alternatively, we endured the long drives on the highway between major cities or going across the border to the neighboring Germany and Belgium. The best thing I ever experienced was crossing the border without going through security or customs checks. This is the beauty of being in the EU!
This is me on the tram in Rotterdam and another picture of the Atomium, a great architectural landmark in Brussels, Belgium.

See You on the Inside!
Inspired to Speak!
Oh Lord, what do I talk about? This was my exact question when I felt the urge to speak. After having been quiet for some time and feeling blocked from expressing myself, I must say this inspiration came as a jolt to my otherwise quietness. For some time now I have not had the least desire to publicly express myself, not on a platform with a large audience but rather preferring small groups. Perhaps it was the sense of safety that I felt from the least exposure that a small platform presented. At least word would not travel faster or maybe, I felt threatened by those I was meant to serve. After all who am I to be serving those polished and advanced souls. But again, why not? Another thought just appeared in my consciousness, perhaps it is that cultural block that keeps rearing its ugly head each time I want to step out and declare my magnificence. The thought of my small background, having been born and raised in a poor, non-influential family in a third world country. I have been trained to be quiet in order to be safe from ridicule, harm and just a fallout from those I hold dear to my heart. It’s as if I have to continuously exchange their love and attention with my playing small. However, in my language there is a saying that, “Anything that does not end is the sign of a bad omen.” So today I am feeling inspired to speak about my dreams, my mission, my purpose -the reason I am here at this time.
Some years back, while in the midst of strife in my life and a rocky marriage, I felt Spirit/God/my divine guidance was speaking to me about why negative things were happening to me in the way they were. It was as if what I was experiencing was a demonstration of what many women were going through and would be going through for some time. As I cried out for divine intervention as a spiritual being that I am , I felt like I had the answers to my problems and to the problems of many women around me. So, it was important that how I overcame my challenges would be a stepping stone to the interventions I would bring to these women. It was not so clear back then, but now with more consciousness and seeking revelation about what life is all about, I have developed a deeper understanding of what exactly this intervention needs to be. Of course it will continue to evolve as more wisdom downloads and I am open to receive. I have come across circumstances, people and relationships that have served to confirm that I am supposed to serve my fellow women while I am still here on this planet. My connection to Braveheart women community has been a catalyst in the process and has instilled in me the courage to declare who I am. I am a healer among my friends, colleagues, acquaintances, relatives, family and the outside world. Love is the tool that is at the center of this mission. We are commanded to love ourselves, love our neighbor the same way we love ourselves and love our creator with all our might and our thoughts. I have seen this demonstrated in our community. Now, how can I begin to impact the world if I hate myself, if I hide what is within me, if I am afraid to speak because I fear what others will say. If love conquers all, then let’s put it to the test.
At the core of my heart is a project that Spirit has placed as a deep, burning desire and that is at the center of my mission. I have started taking action to fulfil this desire and among other things, I have started a community in my city and those surrounding, to begin to connect women who need healing from traumas of abuse, inflicted by relationships, families, societies and those they hold dear. The next thing would be to emerge as an empowered woman who can stand and choose, and be able to pick up the pieces and claim her magnificence. I believe that a lot of great women have been wounded one way or the other and this is greatly affecting their potential and blocking them from connecting with their purpose. In collaboration with my Braveheart sisters across the world, I am able to bring healing and empowerment to my fellow women through the Ripples and harmony circles that I facilitate every month. I have also started some classes that teach how to connect with purpose. I am convinced that the best thing that can happen to anyone is to connect with who you are and your purpose. This is so liberating. Thus I have begun an online membership to reach as many women as possible through my website: www.woman-empower-yourself.com
My next stage is to build a center, a holistic center where women can access healing and empowerment programs and serve as a getaway from the busyness of everyday life. I have set aside at least 10 hectares (25 acres) of virgin, forested land with a seasonal stream that runs through as location of this center. It is an ideal location as it is far from the madding crowd outside the city of Harare in Zimbabwe, Africa. How did I get this land, I cannot explain but suffice to say -divine providence for this purpose?
So what do I need support with…If I love myself and this mission, then I should learn to ask and this is the essence of this article. I am now fundraising for the construction of this center, starting in the year 2017. I have set up a platform to accept donations through crowdfunding. The beauty of this platform is that everyone can choose how they want to give. If you have a project of your own and would like to also fundraise on the platform, then you have to donate to other projects first before you can set up your own project. Then we work as a team to fundraise for our projects and in turn receive donations from other fellow fundraisers and the public. In this case, you need to open an account first. The other option allows anyone to make a free donation of any amount without opening an account as you may not have a project of your own. In that case you would just click on the “Open donation “button. I would be very grateful for your freewill donation on my link (you can contact me on my Skype link once on the platform if you need assistance) : https://www.crowdfundinginternational.eu/user/WHEC2017
In conclusion, my message to my fellow sisters out there is that we all need to stand for what we believe, regardless of our background or what people will say. Self-love is a virtue which when embraced empowers us as women to step out and become who we are meant to be and Braveheart women is a platform with a vision to nurture us to be just that. I love me and I love Us!

From Vision to Action Series- By Mosline Farawu
Do you think you have a vision, received a vision or got called into a vision. It does not matter how the vision came about. Understanding the issue of vision can be a daunting task, let alone trying to follow through that vison. What is a vision? Who is a visionary? What do you do with a vision? These are crucial questions that beg to be answered before you can even begin to follow that vision effectively.
According to the Oxford Dictionary, vision is the faculty or state of being able to see with the natural eyes, seeing in the dream, trance or supernatural apparition. Dictionary.com goes further to expand the word to the act or power of anticipating that which will or may come to be e.g
prophetic vision; the vision of an entrepreneur.
a vivid, imaginative conception or anticipation e.g
visions of wealth and glory.
In these definitions the eyes are involved and these could be our natural eyes or supernatural eyes or our inner vision through the 3rd eye , that is, imaginative or intuitive.
However, it is clear that this foresight may or may not come to be. Why? Because action in some form is required to trigger the sequence of events that lead to it. Our lives are like a game of chess where one move leads to the next in order to get a particular result. Whereas one wrong move can also lead to disappointing results, we still have to step out and follow through and act on what we have envisioned. It may be in our personal lives, profession or business or in the global sphere. A vision could encompass a world where there is peace and harmony; that is a global vision. It involves a professional or business vision where one engages in activities that bring about this global impact and yet create prosperity for the individual. This further trickles down to the personal vision , that is to have a healthy body, be blossoming, knowledgeable and in harmony with nature and the world.
A visionary therefore is one who can envision the future. For some groups this can involve the supernatural (Wikipedia). So it is clear that one can actively imagine the future and create through their mind, intelligence and wisdom and yet for others it can come supernaturally without actively seeking it. A supernatural download of a vision is usually referred to as a calling and this can come through dreams, imagery or prophesy. Some claim to hear voices or a voice instructing them. Whichever method the vision presents does not really matter as in all cases one is made to see into the future what could come about with their involvement.
Faced with two possibilities, that the envisioned future may or may not be- it is apparent that some action is required here. Alternatively, no action just kills the vision instantly. This is where purpose comes in as “the reason for which something is done or created or for which something exists” -Oxford Dictionary.
So let’s say, one is endowed with the ability to envision an end result or state of affairs supernaturally, this would also involve that person being called to participate in actions that bring about the desired result. In other words purpose does not show up without a vision. So when one says, my purpose is to take care of orphans, there has to be an end result that is envisioned e.g to bring about a harmonious world in which the poor and marginalized are nourished.
Even where the vision comes intellectually or through one’s wisdom , there is purpose for the one envisioning. If you are a visionary in business, you are able to see future possibilities and in order to actualise them, you have to take certain actions and put together structures and that is your purpose.
Where does desire come in? Desire is a strong feeling of wanting to have something or wishing for something to happen,( Oxford Dictionary). Hence desire accompanies purpose since the desire leads to action toward a certain goal. If one is called to act in a certain way but they do not desire to do it, a conflict arises and this is when they abandon the calling. However, in most cases a purpose is accompanied by a desire to see a vision materialize in the natural. So you hear many people saying, my desire is to put smiles on people’s faces or my desire is to make you happy. What they mean is that their purpose is to do things or act in a way that makes you happy, that is what they were created for. At the end of the day it fulfils the happy world vision or happy relationships vision.
Does it mean that some are part of a bigger vision without knowing it? Yes, not everyone knows their purpose and not all are conscious of why they were created. Knowing requires a process of waking up and remembering the mission and this is a topic worth discussing on its own. Yet some people, are born fully aware or with a strong sense of what they have to do. They only need a little nudge and they take off. An example is when someone reads an inspiring article, attends a seminar, listen to a speaker, preacher or takes a course which opens their mind to full consciousness. But still some require a big push like experiencing a disaster, crisis etc before they wake up to their purpose. We usually hear of someone surviving a fatal accident, losing a child or experiencing a rare illness of a loved one and then starting a cause or movement. Therefore it is also possible for some people to die without embracing their purpose or run away from it until they are too old to do anything about it. In these cases, one thing is common and that is, these people may claim to be happy but inner joy eludes them as they do not experience real success through accomplishing what they were really created for. Imagine buying a car and parking it in the garage until all parts are consumed by rust and it breaks down without being driven. What a waste!

Personal, Professional & Global
Did you know there are 3 aspects to your purpose i.e. You have a Personal Purpose, Professional Purpose and Global purpose. For most people when you say "Purpose" they jump to Global Purpose because it is commonly known as your calling. We are here to serve the highest good, through serving each other.
However, for you to effectively pursue your Global Purpose you need to be fit in your mind and your body. This is accomplished by attending to your personal needs/purpose i.e ...to blossom , shift from overwhelm to ease and overflow. You need to boost oxytocin "the ease hormone" so that your body calms down , and your mind can focus and you can receive inspiration from above.
Then, how can you fuel/ fund your Global purpose...you need money and this is taken care of by your Professional Purpose i.e . to create prosperity. So even as your ministry needs money to flourish and impact many people, you also need needs taken care of so that you can devote yourself wholeheartedly to your mission.
The example of Jesus in the Bible comes to mind as he was said to devote time to prayer and fellowship so he could stay connected to the divine power, he was a carpenter by profession so he could support himself and his ministry (he at one time sent his disciples to go and buy food for the masses) and his disciples had their own trades. He went about teaching, healing and working miracles because he was walking in overflow , not overwhelm.
So let us not forget the important aspects /elements of our purpose and thus become unbalanced. Give yourself time to nourish your mind, body and soul through participating in activities that support your personal purpose. Lets get out of the BUSYNESS and attend to real Business.

Talking of choices, we make them every day. Sometimes we are not even aware that we are making choices and some are good, yet others are harmful to us. Nevertheless, life is about choices and there is freedom in making choices that chart the course of our lives. Imagine you are in a maze, going round and round in circles and not finding the exit. Every choice you make will lead you somewhere, either a dead end or closer to the exit. This is how we were created, with a free will to choose amongst many available options. The blueprint or template of our lives has many possibilities built into it and life is not one straight and narrow path from birth to death. Otherwise, that would have been a waste of time and energy on the creator’s path.
Also, each life has a purpose, a mission that it has to accomplish and after navigating and overcoming all the obstacles, we all go back to spirit. Some will have won and others lost the game but the end result is the same, we all die but in different states of accomplishment.
So the choices we make in our everyday existence impact the quality of life we lead and effectively the end result. They determine whether we have a happy ride or a sad one. With those choices, we have the power to decide what makes us really happy, what is counterfeit and what does not give us any joy at all. This kind of knowledge we have individually and it is in this area that we have to choose wisely. There is a saying, “One man’s meat, is another man’s poison” and I think it holds true here, what makes me happy might be the very thing that gives you agony and vice versa.
So choices may not be copied effectively, hence they are called “individual choices”.
I have observed that many women stay in unhappy relationships by choice and this baffles the mind. However, it requires the individual to explain the reasons which can be divine in nature and may also be linked to their mission in life. Perhaps they feel that they have a mission to fulfil within the marriage. Yet others may choose to stay because they have realized that it is a futile exercise to expect a partner, who is another human being to make them happy. They have realized that happiness comes from within when they are at peace. Thus they remove all obligations for their happiness from their partner and make it their full responsibility, thus freeing the other person to navigate their life as they see fit. It is a very big task carrying responsibility for someone else’s happiness, let alone your own. So by taking responsibility this way, a woman can find the true source of her happiness which may not conform to societal norms or expectation. This opens up the heart to love unconditionally without expecting anything in return.
I have also found this to be true in many elderly couples who have been married for two decades and more. After having unsuccessfully tried everything that the book says, they finally find wisdom in setting their partner free. They are still married but they live separate lives, each one pursuing what makes them happy but still standing together as a family unit when required. I used to be amused by how each time my grandmother would travel alone from her rural home to the city, leaving grandfather behind. She would tell us grandfather was too busy to come or was not interested in making the trip. Then a week later, grandfather would arrive from the rural areas and at that time grandmother would be making her trip back. However, each one would speak well of the other and not complain. Such was their life for years until grandfather passed away. Some years later I challenged grandmother to explain what really transpired in her marriage and she had very wise words to share. She told me that earlier in their marriage, it was a difficult relationship between two free-spirited persons trying to conform to the traditional marriage. The marriage could have broken down but grandmother chose to stay and work at it, until they both found a formula that worked for them.
So choices are very difficult to interpret as there is no one size that fits all. As long as the choices are being made consciously, then I personally think there is no harm to the chooser and yet the observer may think it is outrageous.
Children: Oh my word!! We require children to complete us, to give us joy, we ask for them and we receive them…but what we do with them!! Have you ever heard the story of the woman who stayed put in an unhappy marriage because of the Children? What was the price those children had to pay to compensate for their mother’s action, or lest her spirit forever tormented them? I believe it is a lame excuse when a woman says she is weathering the storm because of the children, and then turns around and demands compensation from the children for her sacrifice; when in fact if she could dig deeper it was not even the children at the center of the decision. But it was a self-serving decision.
Unfortunately, we have all accepted it sympathetically and admire such a woman who gives up her happiness for the children. However, my question is, is she not deriving her happiness in seeing the children (the fruit of her womb, the desire of her heart) grow in a protected, well nurtured environment? In other words, she was wise to shift her focus toward what made her happy in a relationship. Her relationship with her husband was doomed but the children became a source of joy, so she stayed.
Are we not all willing to pay the price to hold onto our source of joy? So is it not true that many women stay in unhappy relationships because their happiness lies in caring for their children in what resembles a family unit, though the unit may be toxic to the children (but that’s a different topic). Their desire is not to raise motherless and fatherless children but to create that complete learning environment for the children. It is a desire rooted in the belief that God created families which are the beginning of all life systems and thus are vital for all human beings. Who doesn’t want to be part of a family?
Finally we get to look at choices...

Lack of knowledge: My mother used to say that lack of knowledge is the mother of all inability. I never understood what she meant until I became an adult and a little wiser. Also wondered what Jesus meant by the words “you shall know the truth and the truth shall set you free”. We are all born with internal knowledge i.e truth; however, we need to learn to use that knowledge. So we go to school and get an education. This kind of education is standard and works as a foundational template on which all our systems function and we all operate .However, there is a deeper, more advanced education of a spiritual nature that is required for one to understand the modalities of life .This knowledge is not taught in schools but it resides within each of us. It requires special methods of accessing it and sometimes these methods are as simple as having a conversation, listening to someone talk, praying, meditating etc. Without that knowledge, also known as wisdom, one can have degrees in standard education but remain ignorant of what life is all about.
Hence, navigating life can be a big challenge, and relationships can be like a big iceberg on the path to happiness. If someone does not know what makes a good relationship for them, how can that person choose that relationship? Many women stay in unhappy relationships simply because they do not know what else is out there, what are the options etc. What some women consider to be what they want out of a relationship is usually copied from others or dictated by society and different kinds of media and can end up being the very thing that builds prison walls around them. Some will think having a wealthy partner is the thing, or a handsome man or an educated man from a prominent family…so and so’s son etc. Usually this is so distorted and that preferred partner lacks all the other qualities that contribute to a happy relationship. A wealthy partner could be a womanizer, bully or cheat, liar or abuser, but because there is wealth involved the woman sticks it out in the hope of enjoying the wealth. However, as one African saying states “ Unotodya mari yacho nemuseredzero”, literally translated to ‘you need to have a glass of water next to you while partaking as you may get choked”. What is your standard for a happy relationship?
Knowledge begins with knowing who you are first before you can apply it to other things around you. What is it that makes you tick, what are your needs and wants etc? Do you know why you were created? What is your purpose and are you living it? Are you living life consciously or subconsciously, being driven by unknown forces, fears and pressures? At the Women’s Healing and Empowerment Centre we teach a Conscious Living and Self Discovery course which helps women to engage in conscious relationships and connect with their purpose ,which brings real happiness. It is not that complicated to be happy but we make it to be what it is not, as we put such a high price on it that many people cannot afford.
Get a glass of water and drink to this one and let’s talk about children…next!

Religion is good for the salvation of our souls but misunderstood religion can become a York on our necks. Many religions believe that women should be subservient or submissive with a quote from the Bible (Ephesians 5:22) and with that they become a muzzled ox (1 Corinthians 14:34), with no voice what so ever. The half-baked understanding and application of these scriptures, forgetting to complete the sentence and read the context has had so many negative implications for the female gender. It is with disregard to the fact that Jesus had women following him freely during his time and he protected (e.g. Mary Magdalene) and elevated them. In order to become endeared to and identified with their religion, good women are prayerful women period. So instead of spending time thinking about what they want in a relationship which is wasted intention units they should just pray about it. This disregards the requirement of active faith. Speaking out is considered taboo and can result in ex-communication.
Unfortunately, these religious beliefs are picked up and applied willy -nilly by even the non-believers to serve their interests. In the end it sounds as if God himself appeared and proclaimed the rules, yet it was merely another human being, a man for that matter who proclaimed it. Jesus himself did not leave a law but actually came to fulfil the law and leave a new era of freedom rooted in love. So much contradiction!!
Thus, a lot of bottled emotion is found pouring out in women when they let out their anger through manifestation. This is considered demonic activity, which to a certain extent is true because those are angry, destructive emotions. Thus, instead of tracing the root cause of the demon which could have been toxic, unwholesome relationships of all kinds, we are all conditioned to fear evil spirits that are freely roaming about everywhere. Has anyone ever wondered why the majority of people at any deliverance ministry are women? Women who are in different forms of relationships? I’m not saying all women found at deliverance ministries are there due to bad relationships or need deliverance, but it is worth noting that the majority are. There’s always something to pick about their relationships, from truant, cheating husbands to barrenness or lack of a stable relationship or failed marriages or seeking marriage etc. Why is it now so difficult to get married when our ancestors used to get hitched before they even developed all the body tools? Spending time seeking deliverance distracts women from addressing the root cause of their unhappiness. Instead of finding deliverance within themselves and being empowered to make choices, they give that power to someone else and therefore get stuck in unhappy relationships while waiting to be delivered.
Is this controversial? What do you think? Next we will discuss knowledge…
